Bible Study/Devotions/Books

A Cartoonist's Guide to the Bible - Wouldn't the Bible be better with pictures?! Well now it is. This awesome site adds engaging illustration to the scriptures. We highly recommend using this for your Bible exploration at home!

Growing With (book) - "One day they seem content to hang out with you. The next, they’re too busy.
And even if they weren’t busy, you aren’t sure they would want to.
As parents, we often feel the gap between us and our kids widening when they become teenagers and young adults. Maybe it’s just that they’re growing up. But we fear that gap is a symptom that we’re growing apart.
Filled with brand-new research and real-life stories from remarkable families, Growing With shows you how to close the family gap, giving parents courage to take the next faithful step on a mutual journey of intentional growth that trusts God to transform you all.
Discover strategies to help you invite doubt, rather than avoid it. Growing With will show you how to help your kids keep their roots, even as they spread their wings."

FAITH 5 - "(Faith Acts In The Home) is a simple, easy-to-implement faith practice, perfect for incorporating into your bedtime (anytime) routine for five to fifteen minutes a day. When done over time, the FAITH5 carries the power to enrich communication , deepen understanding, aid sleep, and promote mental, physical, and spiritual health."
If I (Brent) could actually require everyone to do one thing, besides worship together, it would be this! Grab a FAITH5 card from us at church to stick somewhere at home that you'll see it often and remember to do it.

Vibrant Faith at Home - Vibrant Faith hosts a whole menu of Bible studies, family activities, and other ideas, for use at home. They've organized their content into a very user friendly menu categorized by family age and stage. They have specific content for parents, grandparents, couples, and more.

Faith Lens - Straight from the ELCA! This is great for youth up to young adults. It has everything; current event content, scripture, devotion/reflection, prayer, & action-step ideas.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes - There's probably an FCA "Huddle" in your kids' school! In the same step as AiA, FCA has a huge network & presence.
