This section will cover the events found in Genesis 3-9. It also addresses how free will & sin come into play according to our faith tradition. This will bring up lots of questions! Questions about human behavior & consequences, God’s behavior, and the nature of right & wrong.   6th grade Axis Guide Sheet: Baptism continued                                                    11/3 + 10/27 revisited Continue anything you haven't been able to cover yet & especially the following:  Service opportunity - Make a tie blanket(s) to be included with the gift bag we give families at a child's baptism. Talk to Brent or Katie to get one! +Reach out to your Godparents/baptismal sponsors & say thanks!      - Keep these people in mind for mentoring next Lent.   Axis Guide Sheet- 7 th /8 th grade: Small Group Covenant & Bonding                               10/6/21   -           Highs & lows o    Catch up from school starting til now. o    Bonus – include a “what I’m hopeful for/looking forward to” segment.   -           Covenant time. o    A covenant is a solemn (serious) agreement/promise between people or groups. o    We hear a lot about covenants in the Bible.
